Passengers traveling through Adani-operated airports across India are currently facing challenges with lounge access due to an unexpected suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd. This disruption has raised concerns because Dreamfolks is a major lounge access provider that partners with several banks.

In a statement released on Sunday (September 22, 2024), Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) admitted the situation and explained their response. The company confirmed that Dreamfolks has violated its service agreements, leading to the current disruptions. To reduce the impact on travelers, AAHL has implemented a temporary solution allowing lounges at its airports to accept all major debit and credit cards from various access providers.

AAHL’s spokesperson mentioned that passengers experiencing disruptions in lounge access due to Dreamfolks’ unexpected service suspension. Despite their efforts to have these services restored, they have not yet resumed. AAHL is currently working with the banks involved to quickly resolve the issue. They are also ensuring that affected passengers have access to lounges by accepting cards from other providers.

  • Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport
  • Jaipur International Airport
  • Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport
  • Thiruvananthapuram International Airport

With a continued commitment to expansion, AAHL is also working on the inclusion of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. As an Adani Enterprises subsidiary, AAHL manages airports that handle about 25% of India’s passenger traffic and 33% of its air cargo.

For now, travelers should check with their banks for lounge access options and to stay updated on the situation as AAHL works to restore services.
