Bank of Baroda (BOB), a renowned Indian nationalized banking and financial services company, offers a wide range of banking and financial services to its customers, including fixed deposits (FDs).

The Bank of Baroda Fixed Deposit provides interest rates ranging from 4.25% to 7.25% per annum to the general public and from 4.75% to 7.75% per annum to senior citizens on tenors spanning from 7 days to 10 years.

Resident Indian senior citizens only qualify for the additional senior citizen rates of 50 basis points.

BOB Suvidha Fixed Deposit Scheme

Under this scheme, depositors receive a combination of competitive interest rates along with easy liquidity. Customers can utilize their deposits to enjoy the benefits of both long-term and short-term deposits.

The scheme provides a loan facility of up to 95% on the deposit and offers a nomination facility. Senior citizens receive an additional interest rate of 0.50% over the regular rates.

Unlike other fixed deposits, this scheme offers a flexible deposit option with no lock-in period. Customers can enjoy the dual advantage of a great rate of interest as well as a flexible withdrawal limit. Resident Indians and HUFs are eligible for this scheme.

Baroda Tax Saving Term Deposit

The scheme, as implied by its name, has been designed to consider the tax-saving factor. It assists resident individuals and HUFs in saving money on tax and obtaining maximum returns on their fixed deposit.

Interest is compounded on a quarterly basis, and the bank provides a nomination facility. Tax/TDS is applicable on interest earned on the deposit, and the scheme is eligible for resident Indians and HUFs.

Bob360

This is a special scheme introduced for 360 days for domestic term deposit including NRO and senior citizen. Minimum amount required is Rs. 1000.

It provide interest of 7.10% for general public and 7.60% to senior citizen. Nomination and auto-renewal facility will be available.

Baroda Tiranga Plus Deposit

This is a special term deposit scheme introduced for 399 days including NRE/NRO/Staff& Senior Citizen. Minimum deposit required is Rs. 1000 and thereof multiple of Rs.1

It provide interest from 7.15% to 7.80 depending upon general public and senior citizen. Nomination facility will be available.Ā
