Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented India’s first-ever National Creators Award on Friday at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The award aims to be a launchpad for the use of creativity to drive positive changes.
With the dominance of social media, the creator economy is growing and millions of content creators create content on different social media platforms on various topics such as fashion, technology, general knowledge, education, travel, and others. Therefore, the Government has taken the initiative to give recognition to creators who are impacting the positive changes in India.
“I would also like to congratulate all those who took part in the entire process in the run-up to the National Creators Awards. These Awards are going to emerge as a prestigious and effective way of encouraging talent. I do urge all content creators to keep working hard and creatively, and keep making us all proud,” the Prime Minister posted on X (formerly Twitter).
