NSE (National Stock Exchange) and BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) are India’s largest stock exchanges in India. NSE has US$ 3.4 trillion in market capitalization, becoming the world’s 10th largest stock exchange.
These exchanges facilitate smooth and seamless trading operations throughout the year, with trading hours extending from 9.15 am to 3.30 pm on weekdays, which offer a trading window of 6 hours and 15 minutes. Saturday and Sunday are considered off when no trading occurs in the equity sector, equity derivative segment, and SLB segment.
In addition to weekends, the stock market offers holidays on specific national and cultural holidays in 2024.
