Public sector banks are auctioning assets of unpaid loans. You can buy them too.

Public sector banks in India are using "doorstep banking agents" to capture photos and videos of properties, cars, and other assets being auctioned due to unpaid loans.

These visuals are uploaded to eBKray, a government-backed auction platform, making it easier for buyers to view assets.

The eBKray platform manages and sells non-performing assets (NPAs), with 3,000 properties listed for sale in October.

The PSB Alliance, a group of 12 public sector banks, is improving the platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance technology for auctions and supply chain finance, streamlining the process for greater transparency and efficiency.
