How important is it to have a Will?

Ratan Tata passed away on October 9 at the age of 86. His will named four executors - lawyer Darius Khambata, close friend Mehli Mistry, and his half-sisters Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy.

Ratan Tata held a 0.83% stake in Tata Sons, with a net worth of ₹7,900 crore, most of which is tied to Tata Sons shares.

His will's details are private, but a significant portion of his wealth is expected to go to charity.

Mehli Mistry, a longtime associate and trustee of Tata’s charities, along with Khambata, will manage his estate.
